Small businesses need trusted legal advice just as much as large corporations. As a small business owner, you are faced with daily situations involving real estate and leases, employees, vendors, contracts, insurance, and other policies and procedures. Unlike the large corporation though, you have a limited budget to work with and each legal issue can have a more profound impact.
Chances are that most of your dealings with lawyers have been when something has gone wrong. There are many lawyers out there who focus on this reactive work, coming in to resolve a problem for you and then waiting for the next emergency to happen. While I can help you through the problems and issues that your business faces, I prefer to take a proactive approach to your business. Being proactive rather than reactive is more beneficial for you and your business. I meet with you at least once a quarter to see how your business is doing and advise you on ways to minimize risk and avoid problems from occurring. Taking a proactive legal approach is also more cost effective, as it is more expensive to fix problems than it is to prevent them in the first place.
Having a trusted legal advisor is important for every business. Who do you trust with your business?
